Welcome Visitors
If you have questions about joining the Coast Guard Auxiliary, please contact Tom Miller at pe@a1300509.uscgaux.info.
The following are links to various public interest pages and sites related to safe boating:
- Boating Safety Classes
Take your class and get your Oregon Boater's Education Card before you receive a fine for not having your card. In 2006, if you're 50 years of age or younger, you're required to have this education card if boating with a 10hp motor or larger.
- Virtual Vessel Safety Check
Do you want to know what the CG Auxiliary checks before you arrive with your boat? Well, here it is.
- Free CG Auxiliary Vessel Safety Check
If you're in the Grants Pass area and would like a FREE CG Auxiliary Vessel Safety Check, contact Tom Miller at ve@a1300509.uscgaux.info. If you prefer, the CG Auxiliary holds a Vessel Safety Check day at the Grants Pass Shopping Center (in front of RiteAid/Staples) a few weeks before Boatnik each year. Look for announcements in the GP Courier, or on KAJO for the exact date.
